Liechtenstein 2018 Hematin Personal Stamp with crystal

A special issue Personal stamp created by the a Philatelic company Hermann E Sieger GmbH as part of a subscription service, and issued by Liechtenstein Post, a  Hematin stuck to the stamp featuring an image of Lord Buddha on the stamp.

Hematin gemstones are counted among the popular gemstones with a strong metallic sheen. They help avert negative influences and serve as good luck charms. Hematin is also called bloodstone and used in blood disorders, as it has a positive effect on the blood and especially blood formation.

Hong Kong 2018 Inclusive Communication Stamps and minisheet

Issue date 7 June 2018

To promote inclusive communication, Hongkong Post issues a set of six special stamps and a stamp sheetlet on that theme. The stamps display six common words or phrases in Chinese and English, namely, “Friend” ($2), “Good morning” ($2.60), “Hello” ($3.40), “Keep it up” ($3.70), “Love” ($4.90) and “Thank you” ($5). On the left side of each stamp, there is a simple and adorable comic character expressing the word or phrase in sign language. In addition, the Braille dots for the word or phrase are printed in textured Braille ink on the surface of the stamp. This combination of sign language and Braille in the design thus allows the messages of the stamps to be conveyed to people with different needs. The accompanying stamp sheetlet is printed with lithography plus a lenticular effect.

Australia 2018 Israel Favourite Tree - Eucalyptus Scented Stamps

The World Stamp Championships Israel 2018 minisheet issued by Australia Post contains four $1 Flowering Gum stamps from the 2016 Love the Celebrate stamp issue incorporated into a miniature stamp sheet.

Eucalyptus was voted Israel’s favourite tree and  the minisheet includes a ‘scratch and sniff’ effect, which brings the unique fragrance of the Eucalyptus.

Niger 2013 Peng Li Yuan - First Lady of China Wood Stamp

To commemorate the long standing relations between Niger and China, Niger Post issued a special wooden miniature sheet featuring a portrait of the First Lady of China, Peng Li Yuan. wife of the newly elected Chinese President Xi Jinping in March 2013. The portrait titled “Young Female Singer” has been painted by Jin Shangyi who painted the young Peng Li Yuan in 1984 when she was a student in her early 20s at the China Conservatory of Music.

Peng Liyuan is a Chinese contemporary folk singer and performing artist. Sitting on a plain black chair before a landscape painting from the Northern Song dynasty, Ms. Peng looks pensive, even solemn, the expression on her face difficult to read.

Niger 2013 120th Birth Anniversary of  Mao Tse Tung Wood Stamp

To commemorate the 120th Birth Anniversary of Chairman Mao Tse Tung,founding father of the People’s Republic of China, and leader of China from 1949-76, Niger Post has issued a special commemorative miniature sheet printed on wood featuring the oil canvas painted by Liu Chunhua in 1967 titled  Chairman Mao en Route to Anyuan.

The painting depicts  a young Mao Zedong (Chinese Communist revolutionary) striding atop a mountain peak wearing a look of determination on his face and portraying Chairman Mao as a revolutionary leader committed to championing the common people.
