Djibouti Post through Stampera Company has issued a special Stamp sheet printed on Wood Paper reproduction of the 1897 Qing Dynasty Imperial Revenue Stamps. They were originally revenue stamps which were surcharged and converted into Postage stamps in 1897. Two varieties of the stamp sheet was issued - A perf and a imperf version.

Germany 2024 Christmas for Children - Christmas Bakery Stamp printed with Interactive Codes Read with Special Tiptoi Pen

Issue date 2 November 2024

Deutsch Post (Germany) has issued a special Stamp with Interactive code featuring Christmas for Children - Christmas Bakery, suitable for franking standard letters up to 20g and postcards within Germany. 

The Stamp is printed with Interactive Codes when read with a Pen Reader from Tiptoi Pen brings out the music of Christmas. You need to buy the Tiptoi Pen from Ravensburger.de and download the audio file onto the pen which will play the file when pressed on the Start Button Icon (as in all Ravensburger books). A special charger station which can download the audio file to the pen but it is not necessary. Just connect the pen to you PC via USB and copy the downloaded audio file (gme* file) and insert it into the  drive of your tiptoi® pen. Once the audio file is copied disconnect the pen and use as discussed above.

Switzerland 2025 Solar System Special Sheet with Thermochromic ink printing

Issue date 23 January 2025

Swiss Post has issued a special sheet almost one meter wide, titled Our Solar System with 10 stamps which includes the Sun, Moon and the Eight Planets. 12,742 sheets were printed and matches the average diameter of the Earth in kilometers. Fascinating facts of these celestial bodies can be found on the back of the special sheet.

Two special thermochromic Cinderella stamp featuring the Hailey's Comet (Labeled as K on the sheet) and the Churyumov-Gerasimenko Comet (Labeled as L on the sheet) is printed on the sheet (darkened area which reveals the comet when heat applied).

Churyumov-Gerasimenko Comet is a Jupiter friendly comet and had the European Space Agency Spacecraft Rosetta placed in its orbit and having the Rosetta space lander probe Philae land on the comet in 2014.

China 2026 -2 Chinese Painting Leading Horses out of the Stable Imperf Stamps printed on Rice Paper

China Post has issued a special Souvenir sheet printed on Xuan Paper with 3 imperf stamps depicting the Chinese Painting - Leading Horses out of the Stable by Ren Renfa, a painter of the Yuan Dynasty. The perforated stamps are printed on normal paper. An inscription on the bottom right of the imperf souvenir sheet in the accompanying folder indicates (Xuan Paper Variety) when translated.

China 2024 Mogoa Grottoes Silk Stamp Souvenir Sheet

China Post has issued a special silk souvenir sheet featuring the Mogoa Grottoes with 2 odd shaped stamps and unusual perforations on the stamps.

The Mogao Grottoes are located on the eastern foot of Mingsha Mountain and the western bank of Dangquan River, 25 kilometers southeast of Dunhuang City, Gansu Province.

The souvenir sheet features the Statues of Buddaha Sakyamuni, His Two Disciples and the Four Bodhisattvas, Sui Dynasty from the Mogoa Grottoes.

The souvenir sheet uses fluorescent ink, displaying a gradient halo effect under ultraviolet light on the stamp, which  reflects the deep and intricate visual impression of the cave interiors.

Deutsch Post (Germany) has issued a special Stamp with Interactive code featuring Sponge Bob Square Pants and Friends (Patrick and Sandy) from Bikini Bottom by creator Stephen Hillenburg (1961-2018), suitable for franking standard letters up to 20g and postcards within Germany. 

The Stamp is printed with Interactive Codes when read with a Pen Reader from Tiptoi Pen brings out the music of SpongeBob's exciting world at Bikini Bottom. You need to buy the Tiptoi Pen from Ravensburger.de and download the audio file onto the pen which will play the file when pressed on the Start Button Icon (as in all Ravensburger books).
