UAE 2021 50th National Day Crypto Stamps

Emirates Post Group to commemorate the United Arab Emirates’ 50th National Day has issued a special set of four “Crypto stamps” in both physical and blockchain-enabled digital form that purchasers can authenticate by scanning an NFC chip embedded in the physical version with their smartphone or using the QR code printed on the stamp.

Emirates Post Group quote - 
“NFT stamps, commonly known as crypto stamps, have digital counterparts stored in the blockchain, and can be collected, traded, or used for online exchange like other digital tokens"

Each stamp includes a unique code hidden behind the card which can be unlocked by scanning the QR code to activate the counterpart on the blockchain.

The First stamp is titled "Golden Jubilee 2021" to aptly commemorate the event celebration. The stamp also features a 99.9% purity 1 gram Gold bar on the stamp. Face value AED 2021 (note the amount also relates to the year 2021). Total Stamp issued - 2021



The Second Stamp is titled “Spirit of the Union 1971.” to commemorate the creation and the development of the state by the founders. Face value AED 250. Total Stamp issued - 1971



The Third Stamp “Year of the 50-2021.” celebrates the country’s Jubilee achievement in 2021. Face value AED 250. Total Stamp issued - 2021


The Fourth Stamp “Projects of the 50th 2071.” details the future missions and aspirations of the United Arab Emirates. Face value AED 250. Total Stamp issued - 2071
