Netherlands 2024 Children's Welfare Stamps

Issue date 07 October 2024

Post NL has issued a sheet of Children’s Welfare Stamps celebrating 100 years of Children’s Welfare Stamps, with a value of 1 for domestic mail within the Netherlands plus a surcharge of €0.54 per stamp to raise money for projects focused on the well-being of vulnerable children. The sheet has 5 stamps, 1 large and 4 smaller ones. The large stamp includes a QR code that allows the sender to send a personal video message to the recipient.

Recording this for posterity from my stamp collection as with most stamps with QR code or Augmented Reality the experience of using a QR code is lost in time (due to limited storage space/maintenance by the providing company)

Use the camera on your smart phone and scan the QR code on the Stamp .. in this case my stamp

Try it with your smartphone camera here
(hopefully it is still there - recording below)

When you use your smartphone camera to scan to the QR code a link is provided (click it to go to the hosting website)
