Malaysia 2014 - KLIA2 with Textured Rough Surface on the tarmac

POS Malaysia has issued a commemorative Miniature sheet featuring the Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 2 with textured rough tarmac surface using a special embossing process to give rough surface effect on the miniature sheet. 

The following are features of the new terminal -

Runway 3 at KLIA2 is 3.96km long and 60m wide.

The new air traffic control tower at the KLIA2, dubbed Tower West, is the tallest of its kind in the world, standing 133.8m above land and 141.9m above sea level. It has 33 floors and a rooftop where the Surface Movement Radar is located.

The new terminal can be accessed by the Bandar Tasik Selatan LRT station which is a Malaysian interchange station located next to the Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS). The station serves as both a stop and interchange for KTM Komuter (KTM), Ampang Line (LRT), and the Express Rail Link's KLIA Transit trains (ERL), and RapidKL buses.
