UAE 2015 International White Cane Day

On the occasion of the International White Cane Day, Emirates Post in association with Emirates Association of the Visually Impaired has issued two Dh3 commemorative stamps on a miniature sheet which carry the slogan "UAE with You" in different languages like Arabic, English, French, Hindi as well as in Braille. The Braille printing consists of raised dots which the visually impaired can read by touch.
The stamps were issued to raise awareness of the visually impaired people and services offered to ensure the safety of the visually impaired in public places. The stamp depicts an image of a person walking with a cane.
The Braille printing has raised dots on the sheet which a visually impaired person can read by touching the raised dots.
