Barbados 2025 Dove of Peace Embroidered Stamp

Barbados Post in collaboration with Austrian embroidery specialist Hämmerle & Vogel and 12 other Postal Authorities (Aland Post, Armenia, Austria Post, Cyprus, Faroe Island, Greenland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Swiss and UN Postal authorities) has issued a special embroidered stamp featuring a Dove which always has been a symbol of Peace. The UPU paix embroidered label with the Dove of Peace motif was also issued at the Koreapex 2025 Stamp exhibition with no postage value (Cinderella stamp).The UPU Dove label was available with the Swiss Stamp at its Headquarters in Bern Switzerland for Sale. (Total 13 embroidered stamps and 1 UPU embroidered label)

This is first unusual stamp for Barbados in my collection. This Stamp was issued last in the Dove Series. Barbados was mentioned to be participating in the Initial Dove Series Release but there was uncertainty in its issue till it was confirmed in the middle of November of its issue in early December of 2025.

Season's Greetings !!! Had bought this stamp during the Canada Post Strike of 2024 which disrupted delivery of post and sent to a friend in Australia. Further delayed due to multiple postal strikes till I got reliable delivery through one of my visiting relative from Australia.

Australia 2024 Paris Olympics Gold Stamps

Issue Date 01 November 2024 

Australia Post to commemorate the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad were held in Paris, France from 26 July to 11 August 2024 has issued a limited edition (200) 24-carat gold (99.9% pure) sheetlet of 10 stamps. The sheetlet has detailed embossing with gold applied between sheets of PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate).

It came in a special folder with 2 mini -sheet - Mini sheet 1 has a block of 4 stamps from the Path to Paris: Paris 2024 Olympic Games stamp issue released 24 June 2024 while Mini-sheet 2 has a block of 4 stamps from the Australia's First Olympian: Edwin Flack stamp issue released 26 September 2023. This folder was part of the Impression Series of 2024.

Australia 2024 Retro Audio Mini-sheets with Holographic Foil Printing

Issue date 01 November 2024

As part of the Annual Impression Series of Australia Post for local Community Collectors, A set of 4 limited edition mini-sheets with 3 Stamps was issued, commemorating the Retro Audio units from the 1960s - Stamps featuring HMV Caprice (1961), Kriesler Master Multi Sonic (1966), AWA B28 Portable (1963). These stamps were earlier released in March 20, 2024. These mini sheets were available for sale during the Sale of the Impression Series but sent to local collector community members in January of 2026.

Of the 4 mini sheets, 3 include perforated stamps from the earlier issue with holographic foil printing and embossing on the odd shaped mini-sheets. The fourth mini sheet includes 3 perforated stamps and 3 imperforate stamps on the same sheet.

Switzerland 2025 Swiss Inventions - Toilet Duck Cleaner Scented Stamp

Swiss Post to commemorate Swiss Inventions has issued a Special Stamp featuring the Duck toilet cleaning dispenser. The Stamp gives out the smell of citrus cleaning scent when gently rubbed with fingers.

The toilet cleaning bottle with a curved “duck” neck was invented by Walter-Düring-Orlob in Switzerland in 1980. This innovative bottle design is now a worldwide bathroom phenomenon.

Swiss Post to commemorate Stamp Day has issued a special miniature sheet featuring the municipality of Döttingen based on an aerial photo of Döttingen.

Besides showcasing the Church Tower and the common kingfisher which breeds in Döttingen on the miniature sheet, it also shows a towering Electric pole with fairy lights adorned on the power lines.

Under UV light, the hidden elements of the miniature sheet comes up.

A Fisherman with a fish at the end of the fishing line appears under UV light in the area where a lady skates and the path flown by the Kingfisher also lights up.

Indonesia 2025 National Costume - Kebaya Stamp with Fabric affixed on the Stamp Souvenir Sheet

Indonesia Post, to commemorate the Traditional Dress worn by Women in Indonesia - The Kebaya, has issued 4 Souvenir sheet featuring the Kebaya in different Flowery Prints with the shiny silk fabric been cut and affixed on the stamp as worn by the ladies on the stamps of the Souvenir sheet. The limited edition souvenir sheet has a high Stamp value of IDR50000.

Indonesia Post to commemorate the Thailand 2025 held in Bangkok from 8-12 August 2025 with the issue of 4 Special limited edition mini sheets with 2 se-tenant self adhesive Stamps each (Borobudur Temple and Thai Dancers). Two of the mini-sheet has been printed on holographic foil with one having the glitter spots effect. The other 2 mini-sheet has been printed on a silk fabric - one with perf and the other imperf stamps.

Switzerland 2025 Upcycling Fabric Stamp

Issue date 06 November 2025 

Swiss Post has issued a special fabric odd shaped miniature sheet (Shirt - shaped) with 10 self adhesive stamps made of fabric from old recycled yellow uniform (Shirts and blouses) of the Swiss Post. The stamps have serrated edges similar to traditional zigzag scissors used for cutting fabric. 

This stamp was issued to commemorate the Yellow Swiss Post Uniform (Shirts and Blouses worn under the Blazers) used by Swiss employees and the discarded/residual fabric were used to create this postage stamp.

Universal Postal Union in collaboration with Austrian embroidery specialist Hämmerle & Vogel and other Postal Authorities (Aland Post, Armenia, Austria Post, Barbados, Cyprus Island, Faroe Island, Greenland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Swiss Post and United Nations Post) has issued a special UPU paix embroidered label with the Dove of Peace motif . 

The UPU paix embroidered label with the Dove of Peace motif was also issued at the Koreapex 2025 exhibition with no postage value (Cinderella stamp). 

The UPU embroidered Dove label was sold in a folder with United Nations 6CHF stamp issued in the UPU office in Bern Switzerland. A post card with the UPU dove label was also available for sale.

Austria 2025 Edelweiss Reloaded 3D printed Stamps

Austria Post in collaboration with Hämmerle & Vogel company (producer of embroidered stamps) has issued a special stamp with 3D printing featuring the Edelweiss Flower. 

The 3D printed flower is soft and flexible and can be felt on the stamp. Even the green lettering on the stamp has a raised effect due to the 3D printing. When a light is shone on one side you can clearly see the shadows of the raised part on the other side.

The Edelweiss reloaded flower is printed in different layers giving a layered un even feel across the printed flower. The flower is printed like a comb teeth each of varying height to form the full flower.

Only drawback envelope cover with stamp may not pass through automated sorting machine. Wonder if it will survive the automated sorting process.

Indonesia 2025 Phila Korea 2025 Traditional Dresses Silk Stamps

Issue date 17 September 2025 

Post Indonesia to commemorate the World Stamp Exhibition (Phila Korea) 2025 held in Seoul Kores has issued a set of 3 self adhesive Limited edition Silk Mini sheet featuring 2 stamps of Traditional costumes worn by ladies in Indonesia (Kebaya) and South Korea (Hanbok).

The silk mini sheet was limited to 2000 sets of three sheets only. (My sheets are numbered 1509 / 2000)

One of the mini sheet is perforated with embossed varnish, The second sheet has imperf stamps with embossed Varnish while the third mini sheet has perf stamps with embossed varnish and Glitter.
