Malaysia 2025 Pokemon Holographic Foil Stamps Set

POS Malaysia has issued a special folder set with 10 Stamps of which 5 stamps has been printed with holographic foil to look like cards from the trading card game (TCG), featuring Charizard, Blastoise, the iconic Pikachu from the first games in the franchise and also Venusaur, Sprigatito, Fuecoco, Quaxly, Koraidon, Miraidon, and Pokeball. Each of the Stamps are featured on a souvenir sheet.

Belarus 2025 Woodland Strawberries scented stamps

Belarus Post has issued a set of 2 special stamps featuring the Strawberry plant/fruit printed with special varnish with the aroma of wild strawberries.

This is my first unusual stamps from Belarus. Also a souvenir sheet was issued with the 2 stamps

Curacao 2021 South American Horses - Lusitano Horse Scented Stamp

Curacao Post has issued a set of 6 Stamps featuring South American Horse breeds - Lusitano’ (70c), English thoroughbred (Cat.1), Friesian horse (Cat.2-left), Shire horse (Cat.2-right), Quarter horse (334c), ‘Andalusiër’ (478c), and the ‘Paso Fino’ (746c). 

The 70c Lusitano Stamp has a special varnish which has the scent of the horse. (My wife sniffed, said it has a smell of horse hair and turned away - need to rub the varnish a bit - I smelled a faint smell of it the first time around but it was a huge whiff when the varnish was rubbed) Don't know if the scent will hold after a few years that is if I remember to rub the varnish

Ukraine 2025 Cities of Heroes. Mariupol Stamp with thermographic printing

Ukrposhta Ukraine Post has issued a special souvenir sheet commemorating the horrific bombing of the Donetsk Academic Regional Drama Theater in Mariupol, where more than a thousand civilians, including women and children, were hiding from the shelling. A warning sign “CHILDREN” was written in large letters on the square in front of the theater on 22 March 2022. 

The postage stamps of the issue are covered with particles of steel manufactured at the Azovstal steelworks in Mariupol and printed by Cartor Security Printers (France) with thermographic printing.

Hungary 2025 50th Anniversary of the filing of the Rubik Cube Patent

Magyar Posta to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the filing of the Rubik Cube Patent has issued a special set of Souvenir sheet with a round stamp. A special foldable version of the sheet that results in a paper version of the Rubik Cube is provided along with souvenir sheet. (Thought initially that the additional folding sheet would contain the stamp but it was not so.. hence listed as just a Odd Shaped stamp..bit disappointing personally)

The Rubik’s Cube®, or Magic Cube as it was originally called, was invented by the Hungarian sculptor Ernő Rubik Jr. Rubik built the cube as a teaching tool to help his students understand three-dimensional objects. On Jan. 30, 1975, Rubik applied for a patent in Hungary for his “Magic Cube,” receiving the patent later that year on Dec. 31 1975.

Switzerland 2025 Pro Patria - Valais Bisses Stamp sheet

Issue date 08 May 2025 

Swiss Post to commemorate the historic irrigation channels - Valais Bisses has issued a special stamp sheet. On the front of both sheetlets, you will find four coloured blobs that can be moistened with a little water and turned into paints. This paint can be used to colour in the designated section of the sheetlet. This section can be cut off the sheet and the painted picture can be sent to a Swiss Post address to be part of a competition organized by Swiss Post.

Similar to the paint palette stamp issued by Estonia in 2018.
