Thermographic Printing is a specialist process which creates an enamel-like ‘relief’ effect on the stamp. Special heat reactive, or thermographic, powders is applied to wet printing ink creating a distinctive raised effect on the finished stamp.  

Finland 2007 Easter Rabbit Ceramic Like Stamp

Thermography was used in Finland for the first time when the Easter stamp for 2007 was printed. This technique gives the stamp a ceramic-like roughness. Stamp has been printed by Cartor Company.
