Her Majesty Queen Sirikit had been supporting His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej in His Majesty's duties to improve the Thai people's lives and alleviate their problems continuously. Her Majesty's fame has been accepted in international level and global-renowned organizations.
As a mark of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit's 80th Birthday Anniversary on 12th August 2012, Thailand Post has issued a stamp collection which elegantly shows portrait drawings of Her Majesty the Queen at every ten years of ages for eight designs and a special design features a side portrait of Her Majesty wearing tiara embossed.
In addition, the very best of this collection is the ninth stamp depicting a side portrait of Her Majesty the Queen wearing tiara, special with pearl effect ink and embossing technique as well as 22 karat gold embossing on the stamp texts. Altogether there are 9 designs in the collection.
