Austria 2018 Bright Christmas Glow in the Dark Stamps

As part of the run up to the Christmas celebrations, Austria Post has issued a personalised stamp sheet of 8 special glow in the dark stamps featuring different Christmas Motifs. Three versions of this sheet exists (one of which is above - the only change in the sheet are the cancellation stamps which appear in the top right and bottom left of the sheet which is different in the other 2 Sheets.

Vatican City 2019 - 90th Anniversary of the Lateran Pact (joint issue with Italy) and of the foundation of the Vatican City State

On the occasion of  90th Anniversary of the Lateran Pact (joint issue with Italy) and of the foundation of the Vatican City State , the Vatican City Postal Authorities had issued a special embroidered stamp. The stamp made from embroidered cloth has a value of € 8.40 and features the coat of arms of Vatican City State. The stamps were made by the embroidery firm Hämmerle & Vogel in Lustenau, Austria.

Taiwan 2013 Qing Dynasty Embroidery Stamps

To commemorate the Qing Dynasty-era embroidery, Chungwa Post (Taiwan Post) has issued a special sheet 70 cm (over 2 feet) in length that shows the entire Qing Dynasty embroidery.

The original embroidery, a 5m wide curtain used for ceremonial purposes, includes rich colors. Highlighted by a plush red, it depicts birds, flowers, and trees celebrating a spring-like flowering and abundance. It was in fact in connection with these special stamp sets that the National Museum put the original embroidery on display.

Liechtenstein 2019 300 Years of Liechtenstein Embroidered Stamp

The Principality of Liechtenstein marks its 300th anniversary on 23 January 2019. Through the special stamp “300 Years of Liechtenstein” (face value: CHF 6.30), Philately Liechtenstein will be issuing an embroidered stamp. The anniversary stamp is self-adhesive and is presented in the shape of a Princely hat. It was made by the embroidery firm Hämmerle & Vogel in Lustenau, Austria. Another stamp with crystal was featured earlier in this category.
