Romania 2026 Bull Head Small sized Stamps

Romania Post has issued the smallest stamp in the world at 7.5 x 9 millimeters (0.29 x 0.35 inches) created by Romfilatelia to mark the Centenary of the International Federation of Philately (FIP) features the historic Romanian "Bull's Head" design - the first official stamp of Romania.

The stamp was recorded by the Guinness Book of World Records as the worlds smallest stamp on 23 May 2026.

This stamp as compared to standard Canadian Stamp

As compared to the recent Belgian (2025) Issue -  10mm x 20mm

As compared to the Australian Bonsai Stamps issue - 6.5 x 9.375 millimeters

Romania 2025 The Consecration Of The National Cathedral - Miniature Sheet

Posta Romana has issued an extra wide stamp on a souvenir sheet measuring 264 x 68 mm (stamp size: 252 x 36 mm) to commemorate the consecration of the National Cathedral in Bucharest, the most representative edifice of Romanian Orthodoxy. The grandeur of the Cathedral, the largest Orthodox Cathedral in the world, is symbolically reflected by the postage stamp, whose dimensions exceed those of the previous philatelic record published by Guinness World Records.

It beats the previous widest stamp by  Philippine Postal Corp stamp  234 mm x 40 mm (Second) "Christmas Mass in Churches along the Pasig River " issued in November 2025. The previous holders of this record were by Sri Lanka Post stamp  205 mm x 30 mm (Third) issued in 2024,  Philippine Postal Corp stamp 200mm x 35mm (fourth) commemorating the 125th Anniversary of the first Philippine Republic, Kyrgyzstan Post in 2023 (Fifth) featuring Kyrgyzstan’s Chaar-Tash mountain range commemorating the International Year of Sustainable Mountain Development. The stamp is 184 millimeters (7.2 inches) long.

The other longest stamp issued by Liberia in comparison measures 315mm x 69.5mm though not recognized by the Guinness World Records as it was issued by a Third Party Agency IGPC during Liberia Civil War (1999-2004).

Romania 2021 Endangered National Wild Life Stamps

Issue date 16 October 2016 

Romania Post to commemorate the inauguration of the new infrastructure Laser Valley – Land of Lights which offers researchers a European laboratory with a wide range of fields of science from cutting edge fundamental physics, innovative nuclear physics and astrophysics, to applications for nuclear materials, management of radioactive materials, materials science and life sciences.

The stamp also features 2 Romanian Scientist - Horia Hulubei (1896 – 1972)  and  Ion I. Agarbiceanu (1907 – 1971).

The 3 stamps features Glow in the Dark under UV printing.

Romania 2021 Endangered National Wild Life Stamps

Romania Post as part of the Europa 2021 series has issued a set of special stamps featuring two of the endangered national wildlife - the European mink and the great bustard. At the bottom of the stamps an animal footprint has been printed with ink that is only visible under a UV Light.
