Luxembourg 2026 National Day 3D Printed Stamp

Post Luxembourg Philately to commemorate Luxembourg's National Day on 23 June has issued a special edition of the regular stamp issued in May 2026 featuring HRH Grand Duke Guillaume and his Royal Crest. The Royal Crest in this special edition (limited to 1000 copies) is printed on a 3D printer which uses a liquid photopolymer as ink and is applied to the stamp sheets in the form of very fine droplets, which are then hardened under UV light. Additional layers are over printed on the hardened droplets to create a relief imprint of the Monogram Crest of  HRH Grand Duke Guillaume. The 3D printing was printed by the Austrian Company - Hämmerle & Vogel.

       

The Stamp sheet is housed in a special card paper folder to protect the raised 3D printing on the Stamp.

Luxembourg 2025 LUGA (Luxembourg Urban Garden) Stamp sheetlet

Post Luxembourg in collaboration with LUGA a.s.b.l. (Luxembourg Urban Garden) has issued a special sheetlet with 8 stamps in the form of an envelope containing a packet of wild flower seeds. The seeds are not part of the stamps but inside a packet put inside the sheetlet envelope.

LUGA (Luxembourg Urban Garden) is an open-air exhibition in Luxembourg from 7 May to 18 October 2025, featuring urban gardens, landscape and artistic installations, agricultural projects and living spaces designed by local and international landscape architects, artists and experts.

Luxembourg 2025 Heroes of Mythology - Artemis Crypto Stamp with holographic foil printing

Post Philately (Luxembourg Post) in association with Austria Post, Belgium Post, Netherlands Post and Portugal Post has issued a special Crypto Stamp with holographic foil printing featuring Artemis - Greek Goddess of Hunt and daughter of Zeus and Leto and later identified with Selene (personification of the Moon)

The other crypto stamps issued in the series are - Zeus(Austria Post), Hera (Austria Post), Hermes (Netherland Post),  Athena (Belgium Post) and Poseidon (Portugal Post).

Luxembourg 2025 Dove of Peace Embroidered Stamp

Luxembourg BP Post in collaboration with Austrian embroidery specialist Hämmerle & Vogel and other Postal Authorities (Aland Post,  Armenia, Austria Post, Barbados, Cyprus Island, Faroe Island, Greenland, Liechtenstein, Swiss and UN Postal authorities ) has issued a special embroidered stamp featuring a Dove which always has been a symbol of Peace. The UPU paix embroidered label with the Dove of Peace motif was also issued at the Koreapex 2025 Stamp exhibition with no postage value (Cinderella stamp).

(Total 13 embroidered stamps and 1 UPU embroidered label issued)

Luxembourg Post Philately has issued a limited edition (1000 pieces) Special Deluxe Embroidered Stamps featuring the Coat of Arms of HRH Grand Duke Henri and commemorating the 25th anniversary of HRH Grand Duke Henri’s accession to the throne.

The stamps are made by Hämmerle & Vogel GmbH & Co KG (Austria) on behalf of Post Philately featuring 24 K Gold Thread from  Piana Clerico (1582) (Italy) and crystals from Austria.

The Crypto Stamp comes with its associated NFT image of the Dragon (in colors Red Yellow Blue Green Black) which can be claimed to one's online wallet by scanning the QR code and saving it in one's online wallet with code obtained by scratching off the covered area behind the stamp card.

Luxembourg 2012 Children Stories Comic Strip Mils's Adventure

Gab Weis, born in 1926, has been a tireless designer from a very young age. Books, notebooks, bits of scattered paper, school books and other items provide evidence of this since well before the war.
Caricatures, comic strips, illustrations for short stories, neon signs and headings all crossed over his black oak desk, where his eldest son sits today and picked up his pencil, but not his talent for holding an entire generation of young readers speechless, who at the time did not yet know about television...


Mil, the tireless destroyer of a black and white underworld, well scarred and tattooed, mixes it up in a joyous swirl of boxes with Bomlop, Billy Brainless, Metti an Tunni, Himpo and Hampo, Edelmut and Rosalinde, Fos a Klos, and so many others. The list is so long that it reaches up to designers’ heaven where today Gab continues his stories.

Some websites/blogs indicate that there is a glow in the dark feature on the top left stamp, but there is no glow under UV on any of the stamps on the miniature sheet other than the unusual odd form of the miniature sheet. Even the Luxembourg Post website indicated photochromic in has been used on the sheeet.

Luxembourg 2014 - The 80th Anniversary of the FSPL Silk MS

The “Federation des Societes philateliques du Grand-Duche de Luxembourg” was founded in the City of Luxembourg on 22 February 1934. The FSPL was accepted as a member of the FIP (Federation Internationale de Philatelie) in 1934.

To commemorate the 80th Anniversary of FSPL, Luxembourg post has issued a stamp made of 100% natural silk. The top layer of the paper contains 30g of silk per square meter providing a silky effect. 

The image on the miniature sheet shows elements related to Stamp collecting on the table area. The theme of the Stamp "80 years of FSPL" has been projected onto the wall. The stamp has been designed by Luxembourg artist - Anne Melan.

On the €0.60 stamp, two miniature-size young collectors stepping into a stamp album, a magnifying glass and a giant hand with stamp tongs are shown. A horse-drawn coach is also shown. Pictured in the selvage area to the right of this stamp is another miniature collector dumping stamps out of a wheelbarrow and a hand holding a device to project a stamp image onto the wall.


One stamp image is shown on the €0.85 stamp, along with Luxembourg’s architectural landmarks, Adolphe Bridge. When it was built early in the 20th century, it was the largest stone arch bridge in the world.
