He has won a number of awards in different photo competitions and actively participated in numerous exhibitions with a view to bringing photography to the public eye. The stamp illustrates his snapshot "Always by your side" with two birds personified as humans, conveying the message: no matter how big the sky is and what has become of the world, I will always be there with you.

$3.70 "The vitality of Hong Kong" – Ko Nam (2010)

$5 "How are you" – Liu Tung Mui (2006)
Though suffering from cerebral palsy at birth, Liu Tung Mui has worked with unswerving determination on many paintings filled with vitality and energy. She was presented with the Ten Outstanding Young Persons Award in 2005 and the Medal of Honour (M.H.) in 2007 by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region for her exemplary efforts in inclusive arts and her impressive contribution to charity activities. The stamp shows her work entitled "How are you", revealing that friendship can also be conveyed through dancing and group activities in addition to words and illustrations.

Leichtenstein 2013 – Chinese Lunar Year of Horse 2014 – Laser silhouette on miniature sheet

Issue date 11 November 2013

As per previous 2 issues of the Year of the Dragon (2012) and the Year of the Snake (2013), Liechtenstein Post has issued a Souvenir sheet cut out in the shape of a horse featuring 4 stamps appearing as a silhouette produced by laser technology like in the previous years.

The traditional Chinese New Year celebrations always begins at the second new moon after the winter solstice, i.e. between 21st January and 21st February of the Gregorian Calender. The Year of the Horse begins on 31st January 2014 and lasts until 18th February 2015.

People born in the Year of the Horse are generally very popular. They may be considered restless, but always radiate geniality. They plan their lives on a long term basis, are clever and have a lot of artistic talent. Since the horse also represents financial security, a relatively peaceful year is to be expected.
