St.Vincent 1999 Princess Diana - "A World Free of Poverty, A World for Rich and Poor"

As part of the Millenium series of Photomosaic Stamps featuring Princess Diana issued by many countries celebrating the end of the Millenium, this sheet of stamps features the mosaic of Princess Diana. 

The St.Vincent souvenir sheets features the sentence "A World Free of Poverty, A World for Rich and Poor".

Each sheet utilizes the technique of  "Photomosaics", which is a method of arranging thousands of tiny photographs that when viewed from a distance, combine to form a single larger image, the picture of the face of Princess Diana.

The sheets commemorate both the Millennium and the remembrance of the life of Diana, Princess of Wales.

The nine countries which have issued the photomosiacs are: The Dominica, Gambia, Grenada, Guyana, Micronesia, Nevis, Sierra Leone, St. Vincent, and Zambia.

The sheets measures a large 6½" x 9¾" and all were issued on December 31, 1999.

They are titled

Dominica - "A World of Sharing"

Gambia - "A World of Peace & Understanding",

Grenada - "A World Where Children are Treasured",

Guyana -"A World of Tolerance & Understanding",

Nevis - "A World Where Children Can Learn & Grow",

Micronesia - Numbered 62293,

Sierra Leone - "A Future of Hope",

St.Vincent - "A World Free of Poverty, A World for Rich and Poor",

Zambia - "A Future Free of Hunger & Want",

On the occasion of the 10th Death Anniversary of Princess Diana - the postal authorities of Grenada, Grenada Grenadines, St. Vincent and Guyana has issued a special Hologram stamp in Memoriam.

St.Vincent 1992 Baseball Hall of Fame Trading Card Stamps

 

Issue date 11 June 1992

St. Vincent Baseball Hall of Fame cards that can be used as postage in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Issued in 1992. These card stamps contain Ty Cobb, Dizzy Dean, Bob Feller, Whitey Ford, Lou Gehrig, Rogers Hornsby, Mel Ott, Satchel Paige, Babe Ruth, Casey Stengel, Honus Wagner, and Cy Young; 12 stamps in all. Stats are on back of card which can be peeled off and put on a large envelope as postage.
