Liechtenstein 2020 PET Embroidered Stamps

Vatican Post with Hammerle & Vogel in Lustenau, Austria has issued an embroidered PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) Stamp featuring a Seed and Sun Rays made from the polyester yarn thread from 4000 recycled PET bottles with a volume of 600ml.

The Embroidered Stamp of 7 Euros  features the basic seed, which grows in the earth and is able to mature due to the warmth of the sun, like our environmental and ecological consciousness must evolve.

UAE 2021 50th National Day Crypto Stamps

Emirates Post Group to commemorate the United Arab Emirates’ 50th National Day has issued a special set of four “Crypto stamps” in both physical and blockchain-enabled digital form that purchasers can authenticate by scanning an NFC chip embedded in the physical version with their smartphone or using the QR code printed on the stamp.

Emirates Post Group quote - 

“NFT stamps, commonly known as crypto stamps, have digital counterparts stored in the blockchain, and can be collected, traded, or used for online exchange like other digital tokens"

Each stamp includes a unique code hidden behind the card which can be unlocked by scanning the QR code to activate the counterpart on the blockchain.

The First stamp is titled "Golden Jubilee 2021" to aptly commemorate the event celebration. The stamp also features a 99.9% purity 1 gram Gold bar on the stamp. Face value AED 2021 (note the amount also relates to the year 2021). Total Stamp issued - 2021

The Second Stamp is titled “Spirit of the Union 1971.” to commemorate the creation and the development of the state by the founders. Face value AED 250. Total Stamp issued - 1971

The Third Stamp “Year of the 50-2021.” celebrates the country’s Jubilee achievement in 2021. Face value AED 250. Total Stamp issued - 2021

The Fourth Stamp “Projects of the 50th 2071.” details the future missions and aspirations of the United Arab Emirates. Face value AED 250. Total Stamp issued - 2071

Australia 2021 Bonsai Stamps (Extra Small Size Stamps)

Australia Post as part of the Impression Series has issued a set of 4 Miniature sheets featuring the 3 native Australian Bonsai - Callistemon Viminalis, Ficus Rubiginosa and Melaleuca Linariifolia.

The miniature sheets contain the regular sized stamps and each sheet also has 3 or 4 extra small sized which together are sized atleast 1/3 rd the size of the regular stamps. For eg, the total 3 stamps of the first sheet with extra small 3 stamps are sized 6.5 x 9.375 millimetres.

On magnification of the small size stamps we can see they have an Australian dollars priced stamps.

The Alphabets on the Stamp is printed with heat sensitive ink while the Queen's head + Name of Guernsey and the background letters are printed with a silver foil hologram effect.

Canada 2022 Lunar New Year of the Tiger Picture Postage Personalized Stamp

Canada Post has stopped issuing the Lunar New Year Stamp series after 2  twelve year cycles since 2020 when it released the last Year of the Rat Stamp. To commemorate the Lunar New Year Celebrated on 4 February 2022 for the Year of the Tiger, I had a special stamps issued via the Canada Post Picture Postage program featuring a Year of the Tiger Design Print from a young designer which incorporated a simple and beautiful interpretation of the Lunar New Year Animal - The Tiger.

I had also used her last years design image for the Lunar New Year of the OX 2021 on another Canada Picture Postage Stamps printed at the same time.
