Japan 2021 150 years of Japan's Modern Postal Service

Japan Post to commemorate the  150th anniversary of the founding of the postal service has issued a special booklet with 3 Special Stamp sheets made of handmade (Washi) paper by Mino-kikaisuki. 

The booklet features 3 stamp sheets printed on the world's first "washi (traditional Japanese paper) sticker-type stamp sheet" with 3 symbols of Japan Philately:

- Collection of Modern Beauties: Cheeky Girl (Girl Reading Letter)

- Opening of Yokohama Post Office

- Maejima Hisoka (Father of the Modern Japanese Postal Service)

Singapore Post has issued the widest stamp in Singapore Post history featuring a panorama of Singapore’s world-renowned skyline of the Marina Bay Central Business District. The stamp is 163.2 millimeters ( 6.4 inches) long and is currently the widest postage stamp in Singapore.

Kyrgyzstan 2023 Chaar-Tash mountain range 

Issue date 30 January 2023

Kyrgyz Express Post, one of the postal administrations in Kyrgyzstan, has issued a stamp featuring Kyrgyzstan’s Chaar-Tash mountain range commemorating the International Year of Sustainable Mountain Development. The stamp is 184 millimeters (7.2 inches) long and is currently the widest postage stamp in the world.

It beats the previous widest stamp 170mm-long (6.7 inches) issued by Thailand Post in 2017 commemorating the 70th anniversary of King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s accession to the throne.

Size of Stamp: 184mm*27.50 mm

United Kingdom 2022 Transformers Glow in Dark under UV Stamps

Royal Mail Post has issued 8 stamps featuring the Transformers - Optimus Prime; Megatron; Bumblebee; Starscream; Grimlock; Shockwave; Arcee; and Soundwave

Each of the main eight stamps is printed with UV ink which reveals each of the character’s faction logos and names in the Cybertronian alphabet when shone under UV light.

In addition, each of the eight stamps has a unique Augmented Reality animation which, when scanned on the Royal Mail App, brings the stamp to life and includes a clip from the original animated Transformers TV series.
