A set of 4 stamps, depicting four vibrant fish species usually kept as aquarium pets, was issued by Hong Kong Post featuring the Ear-spot Angelfish ($1.40) - Marine Fish, Copperband Butterflyfish ($2.40) - Marine Fish , Dwarf Gourami ($3) - Fresh Water Fish and Discus ($5) - Fresh Water Fish.
The 'Pet Fish' stamps incorporated a fish-shaped die-cut with each stamp having one, two or three fish shaped holes punched through the paper.
