Royal Mail had issued a set of special stamps depicting the characters of the Star Wars Movie - Darth Vader, Yoda, Obi-Wan Kenobi, StormTrooper, Han Solo, Rey, Princess Leia, Emperor Palpatine, Luke Skywalker, Boba Fett, Finn, Kylo Ren. 5 of the stamps has glow in the dark under UV printing as seen below.

In the fifth series of "Charming Villages" of Spain, Correos Spain has issued stamps in the form of old-fashioned fold-out postcards with the reverse side of the stamp printed just like the backs of those cards used to be. The booklet has four self-sticking stamps and a vignette.

The towns chosen in this occasion are: Bárcena Mayor in Cantabria, Capileira in Granada, Miranda del Castañar in Salamanca And Torazu in Asturias.

Correos Spain has issued a special Stamp with 3 Vignettes with stamp featuring the iconic image of Heraclius Fournier Ace of Pentacles with the vignettes (the Jack of Spades, the Knight of Cups, the King of Wands) connected with a rivet on one end. The Stamp is designed as four main Cards of a Card Set.

Correos Spain to commemorate the New Words spoken by the public and accepted by the Royal Academy of the Spanish Language (RAE) has issued a special stamp with thermochromic ink printing. By rubbing the stamp, this ink allows us to discover some of the new terms such as "brunch", "zasca" or "router" (in Spanish). The Stamp design stimulates the cover of the Royal Academy Dictionary, the reference text for Spanish.

Canada Post to commemorate the centennial of the sinking of RMS Empress of Ireland on May 29, 1914, in the St. Lawrence River, near Rimouski, Quebec which recorded the highest death toll of 1,012 (1,477 recorded onboard) passengers and crews, when the Empress collided with a Norwegian collier - the SS Storstad.

Canada Post to pay respect to the 1,012 lives lost in the tragedy, has printed the list of the names of the passengers who lost their lives with hidden ink which becomes visible under black light .

France 2001 Valentine Day heart shaped stamps      

Issue date  29 January 2001 

La Poste France issues postage stamps by famous French Designers for the occasion of Valentine Day, and most of the stamps are heart shaped stamps. The heart shaped stamp for 2001 has been designed by Christian Lacroix.

The French text "Le coeur est le timbre du corps" means in English "The Heart is the Stamp of the Body".

Canada 2008 Royal Canadian Mint (1908 - 2008) Embossed Stamps

Canada Post to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Mint. The commemorative stamp showcases one of the first coins minted at the RCM: a 50-cent piece featuring a crown and a border of maple leaves. The back of the coin-a portrait of Prince Albert Edward, Queen Victoria's son-appears on the pane, along with images of other coins from the series.
