Note - I do not collect only embossed stamps but since it is my collection thought it to update the same on the blog for those who collect it as an unusual stamp category
Canada Post to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Mint. The commemorative stamp showcases one of the first coins minted at the RCM: a 50-cent piece featuring a crown and a border of maple leaves. The back of the coin-a portrait of Prince Albert Edward, Queen Victoria's son-appears on the pane, along with images of other coins from the series.
