Liechtenstein 2024 Vaduz Castle mini-sheet Stamp with laser cut perforations

Liechtenstein Post with their expertise in Laser/Paper cuts has issued a special stamp sheet on the Vaduz Castle (similar to the paper cuts in the Chinese Zodiac Series). This is the second one in green color. (the first one was in red).




Vaduz Castle is the palace and official residence of the Prince of Liechtenstein. The castle gave its name to the town of Vaduz, the capital of Liechtenstein, which overlooks from an adjacent hilltop.

Singapore 2024 Chinese Lunar New Year of the Dragon Collector  Sheet



Issue Date 5 January 2024

Singapore Post as per their Annual issue for the Chinese Lunar New Year of the Dragon has issued a special laser cut collector sheet with a stamp of SGD10 along with specially designed Red Packets. The stamp also features Gold Foil printing.

The year of 2024 is that of the Wood Dragon.

China Post to commemorate Ancient Chinese Calligraphy - Cursive Script has printed 4 stamps on a mini sheet with 2 sets of 4 different Stamps on special Silk Paper. Another version is the big sheet of 8 stamps per sheet (same stamps on the sheet) x 4 different sheets (for 4 different stamps)

It is known for its elegant lyrics, graceful style and delicate performance.

China 2009 Three Hundred Tang Poems with special printing codes and microprinting

China Post has issued a special sheet with can be read with a special Reader Aigo Pen issued by China Philately commemorating the 300 Poems of the Tang Dynasty (618 - 907 with a break in between 690 -705) established by Li Yuan - Duke of Tang and Governor of Taiyuan during the collapse of the Sui Dynasty. The Tang Dynasty was preceded by the Sui dynasty and followed by the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period.

Two most famous Tang Poets  - Li Bai and Du Fu, was from this period.

China 2012 - 23 Song Poetry with Interactive Codes read by a Special Aigo Pen and Micro Text Printing and one version printed on Xuan Paper

China Post has issued a special sheet with can be read with a special Reader Aigo Pen issued by China Philately commemorating the Song Poetry of the Song Dynasty (960–1279) established by Emperor Taizu (Zhao Kuangyin) of Song. The collapse of the Tang Dynasty (618-907 CE) led to the break-up of China into five dynasties and ten kingdoms, but one warlord would rise to the challenge and collect at least some of the various states back into a resemblance of a unified China. The Song Dynasty preceded the Yuan Dynasty.

The Song Dynasty is known for its achievements in terms of combining poetry, painting, and calligraphy, called the three perfections, into a shared art form, or as complementary activities. Scroll paintings often included accompanying calligraphy poems on the same page which expanded on the themes of the visual artwork.

China 2014 - 29 Yuan Qu (Yuan Drama) with Interactive Codes read by a Special Aigo Pen and Micro Text Printing

China Post has issued a special sheet with can be read with a special Reader Aigo Pen issued by China Philately commemorating the Yuan Drama of the Yuan Dynasty (1271 to 1368) established by Mongol Kublai Khan (Emperor Shizu or Setsen Khan). The Yuan Dynasty followed the Song Dynasty and preceded the Ming Dynasty.

The Yuan Drama is a form of Chinese drama or Chinese opera which provides entertainment through a synthesis of prose and poetry recitation, dance, singing, and mime. Yuan drama had its origins in the Song dynasty.
