Austria 2007 Personalised Meerestiere (Marine Life) in 3D Stamp Booklet

Austria Post has issued a special personalised booklet on Marine Life with special 3D Anaglyph stamps with a pane of 8 Stamps featuring different marine species. A 3D Red and Blue anaglyph glass was enclosed. This 3D booklet was issued in cooperation with the Haus Des Meeres - Aqua Terra Zoo, Vienna.

Canada 2006 Washington 2006 WPE - 1606 Voyage of Samuel de Champlain

This Joint Issue by Canada and USA as part of honouring 400 years of French settlement on the American continent, Canada Post and USPS released a special souvenir sheet with US domestic stamps and Canada domestic stamps on the same sheet during the World Philatelic Exhibition at Washington 2006. The stamps features a barque, a small, two-masted sailing ship built by the French to explore coastal waters too shallow for their larger ocean vessels.

The stamps honour the voyage of Samuel de Champlain in 1606 who charted the Eastern coast from Nova Scotia's Port-Royal south to Cape Cod during the fall of 1606. Champlain never returned to this coast, but his maps broke ground for later adventurers.

Grenada 2003 Anatoly Karpov Chess Champion Anaglyph Stamp MS

Grenada Post to commemorate the first live 3D internet coverage championship TVD First e-world Chess Championship between two legendary world champions Anatoly Karpov and Garry Kasparov battle it out in 3D. The rapid chess games was played in the ABC Studios in Time Square, New York on December 19 and 20, 2002.

By donning special electronic LCD viewing glasses for $99 you were able to watch the first ever Internet broadcast of a chess match in 3D when transmitted to a computer with specific configuration.

How the 3D broadcast worked: the Computer monitor alternately displays complete left-eye and right-eye images, each time the monitor refreshes. The special 3D glasses have high-speed electronic shutters (made with Liquid Crystal material), which open and close at the same refresh rate as the monitor, in sync with the page flipped images. When the left image is on the screen, the left shutter is open and the right shutter is closed, so that the image is viewed only by your left eye. When the right image is on the screen, the right shutter is open and the left shutter is closed, so that the image is viewed only by your right eye. This happens so quickly that the brain perceives 3D depth as though Karpov and Kasparov were floating in space inside and in front of the screen.

The 3D stamps issued by Grenada Post felicitating the winner of the above championship - Anatoly Karpov with a special 3D Anaglyph Stamp miniature sheet which can be viewed using the Red and Blue Anaglyph glasses.

Israel 1973 Jerusalem International Stamp Exhibition - Ancient Coins with Embossed MS       

Issue date - 21 August 1973

The  Jerusalem International Stamp Exhibition was scheduled for 21 August 1973 but due to Yom Kippur war it was postponed to 25th March 1974.

Each stamp shows smaller the FIRST postal stamps of Israel, issued in 1948 before the name "Israel" was chosen for the state. These 1948 stamps show the ancient Hebrew coin, with words "Hebrew Post". Denomination for each stamp is in Israeli Liras, before it was changed to Shekels.

The miniature sheet features and embossed version of an Ancient coin.

Isle of Man 2015 The 50th Anniversary Commonwealth Secretariat Multi - country Stamp issue

Issue date 27 November 2015 

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the formation of the Commonwealth Secretariat with the Queen as Head of the Commonwealth, Isle of Man Post has issued a special sheet with stamps from 27 commonwealth nations. This is the first time 27 countries stamps are featured on a single sheet.

This issue is unusual due to large number of stamps of different countries issued by one country.

Japan 2018 Year of the Dog Lottery Stamp

Issue date 15 January 2018

As part of the Annual Lottery held by Japan Post, a special stamp was issued featuring a Dog character and the stamp had a special "Bone" perforation. This stamp was part of winning the 3rd prize in the lottery issued through a numbered postcard. When the stamp was held at an angle a holographic print of flowers can be seen.

Australia Christmas Island 2018 Chinese Lunar New Year of the Dog 2018 Silk Stamp Miniature Sheet

To commemorate the Chinese Lunar New Year of the Dog, as in the previous year,s the Christmas Island Year of the Dog 2018 silk mini sheet folder pack contains three different version of the mini sheet from the stamp issue.

1) Traditional offset-printed mini sheet, gummed and perforated
2) Digital printed on real silk, gummed and perforated mini sheet

3) Digital printed on silk-like rayon paper, self-adhesive with mesh perforated mini sheet.

The Dog is the 11th sign in the 12-sign Chinese zodiac cycle. Those born under the Dog sign are known to be independent, sincere, courageous and intelligent, as well as friendly and loving.
