Portugal 2019 150 years Mahatma Gandhi Birth Anniversary

CTT Correos de Portugal, to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on 2nd October, has issued a special souvenir sheet stamp printed on Khadi cloth. Khadi, the handwoven natural cloth that Mahatma Gandhi wore and spun on his spinning wheel.
Portugal becomes the second country after India to issue a stamp printed on khadi.
