China 2024 Mogoa Grottoes Silk Stamp Souvenir Sheet

China Post has issued a special silk souvenir sheet featuring the Mogoa Grottoes with 2 odd shaped stamps and unusual perforations on the stamps.
The Mogao Grottoes are located on the eastern foot of Mingsha Mountain and the western bank of Dangquan River, 25 kilometers southeast of Dunhuang City, Gansu Province.
The souvenir sheet features the Statues of Buddaha Sakyamuni, His Two Disciples and the Four Bodhisattvas, Sui Dynasty from the Mogoa Grottoes.
The souvenir sheet uses fluorescent ink, displaying a gradient halo effect under ultraviolet light on the stamp, which reflects the deep and intricate visual impression of the cave interiors.
