USA 2000 Landing on the moon Hologram stamp

To commemorate the Apollo space program which landed the first man on the moon, USPS issued a souvenir sheet with a special stamp with hologram with Express Postage rate of USD 11.75. An April 1972 photo taken by Apollo 16 mission commander John Young is shown on the souvenir sheet of lunar module pilot Charles M. Duke, Jr., collecting samples near the Plum crater. The hologram on the stamp shows the image of a lunar lander hovering just above the moon's surface.
